Medicines to avoid

Many drugs can cause bone loss. Avoid these drugs if you can:

• glucocorticoids
• anticoagulants,
• anticonvulsive drugs,
• chemotherapy,
• androgen deprivation therapy,
• heparin,
• phosphate-binding antacids
